1. Introduce yourself (who you are, what you do in life, your background, etc.)
My first name is Bénédicte, but I am very often called Béné. I have a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and a Master's degree in Population and Development Sciences. My background and personal experiences have led me to be particularly sensitive to the mutual aid between human beings. This is why I decided to work in the NGO and international cooperation sector.
2. If you had to describe yourself using only one word, which one would it be?
3. What do you hate the most?
4. Rather introverted or extroverted?
5. Your dream jobs?
I don't dream of a particular job. I aspire to find a place where I feel comfortable and where I can develop myself, whether it is in the field of cooperation, culture or in another sector that I'm not yet thinking about.
6. What super power would you like to have?
The teleportation. It would be great if you would have to do could be to blink your eyes and find yourself on the other side of the world.
7. What's your favorite city?
Santo Domingo. It is a city steeped in history and brings together women and men of all origins. The atmosphere gives you an impression of paradise that I did not find anywhere else.
8. How did you learn to draw?
I never took drawing lessons, but I always loved drawing. In notebook, on my schoolyards and even on my bedroom wall, you can see hundreds of my doodles. It is by dint of perseverance, drawing inspiration from artists and trying out techniques that, little by little, my drawings started to look like something.
9. And finally, why collaborate with ART 23?
ART 23 is a wonderful project that aims to prove that is possible to trade without violating human rights and endangering the planet. In a perfect world, all clothing brands would have such ethics, but that is not the case. I am convinced that an idea as innovative as ART 23 is the way to brighter future for all of us. So how could I not accept to be part of this great adventure?
